Babyshop — Campaigns

Babyshop — Campaigns

Babyshop is the region's biggest kids' retailer, part of Landmark Group, with stores across the GCC and beyond. I've run motion for the brand since 2022 — seasonal campaign films, product launches and fast-turnaround tactical work, all off one system.

Thematic Videos

The problem

These films arrive already shot, made with production partners, and no two are alike. Different tone, different pace, different footage. One house style laid over all of them would flatten every one.

What I did

Read each film for the story it's already telling, then write and animate the type that sharpens it. Words timed to the cut rather than dropped on top of it, so the motion reads as part of the edit and not a layer above it.

Product Launches

The problem

These play on big screens across the stores. A shopper walking past gives them a few seconds, and in that time has to work out what the product is, what it does, and why it's worth the money.

What I did

Learn the product properly first, then build the film so the information arrives in the order a shopper actually needs it. Photography treated like a character — lit, framed and choreographed — with type and colour doing the explaining around it.

Tactical

The problem

A different job entirely. These aren't judged on craft, they're judged on conversions — so what matters is how many people see the offer and understand it before they've scrolled past.

What I did

Offer first, unmissable, inside the first second; everything else earns its place or gets cut. Reusable animated components — badges, price locks, transitions — mean every urgent request starts at seventy percent done, and the last thirty is where each piece gets its personality.
